“…..What are these which are arrayed in white
robes? and whence came they? ….these are they which came out of great
tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of
the Lamb. Therefore are they before the
throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple: and he that sitteth
on the throne shall dwell among them. They
shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more….For the Lamb which is in the
midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains
of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.”
-Revelations
7:13-17
This painting was born from a conversation with my
friend, Tami. We talked of angels, and blessings, and gathering storms
that swarm around us....and in the end we decided that although an angelic
visit is, of course, one of the ways that Heaven comes to help us through the
storms of life, it might be more common than not that WE end up being the
angels to help each other. This painting is dedicated to all my angel sisters
who have helped me brave my storms, given the perfect example of lifting with
love, and powerfully pointed to my Savior Jesus Christ.
